Baghdad: Crude oil prices saw a slight increase at the close of trading on Sunday, following market volatility last week, amid a mix of factors including global supply concerns, geopolitical tensions, and pressures on supply and demand.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brent crude, the global benchmark, rose to around $68.05 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude settled at around $63.55 per barrel, with some markets closing slightly higher after a period of fluctuations in last week’s sessions.
Meanwhile, Iraqi oil price data today showed relative stability in the market, with the average price of Iraqi Basra crude reaching $65.80 per barrel and Basra Heavy crude settling at $63.35 per barrel, with only minor price changes.
