Baghdad: The Head of the Azm Alliance, Engineer Muthanna al-Samarrai, met today at his office in Baghdad with the Russian Ambassador to Iraq, Albrus Kutrashev, to discuss ways to develop relations between Iraq and Russia and enhance joint cooperation on political and economic issues of mutual interest.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement by al-Samarrai’s office indicated that the meeting addressed developments in the region and the importance of expanding international coordination to support stability, contribute to building balanced partnerships based on shared interests, and strengthen opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the coming period.
