Baghdad: Head of the National State Forces Alliance, Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim, emphasized the importance of resolving the remaining presidencies in accordance with constitutional procedures. A statement by his media office indicated that Mr. Al-Hakim met this evening, Monday, at his office in Baghdad, with a delegation from the Reconstruction and Development Alliance, headed by MP Bahaa Al-Araji, where they discussed the latest developments in the political landscape in Iraq and the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Hakim stressed the importance of resolving the remaining presidencies in accordance with constitutional procedures, calling for prioritizing the public interest over private interests and taking into account internal and external challenges in a way that contributes to strengthening political stability and consolidating the democratic process.

Al-Hakim also called for coordinating positions and unifying visions regarding parliamentary performance at the legislative and oversight levels, stressing the importance of enacting laws that directly impact citizens’ lives, meet their aspirations, and strengthen their trust in constitutional institutions.
