Baiji: A security source announced that more than 10 workers were injured in a compressor explosion at the gasoline storage unit of the Salah al-Din refinery in Baiji.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Lieutenant General Dr. Saad Maan, head of the Security Media Cell, confirmed that a fire broke out in the gasoline upgrading unit at the Salah al-Din Refinery/2 in Baiji. Civil Defense teams managed to extinguish the fire successfully.

He further explained that six individuals suffered from smoke inhalation due to the incident and were subsequently transferred to Baiji General Hospital for treatment.
