Baghdad: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid and the Head of the Hikma Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, emphasized the importance of strengthening internal stability and unifying national efforts. A presidential statement said: “President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid received the head of the Hikma Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, today, Tuesday. During the meeting, they discussed the general situation in the country, political, security, and economic developments, as well as regional developments and their impact on the stability of the region.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement added: “The importance of strengthening internal stability and unifying national efforts to achieve the aspirations of citizens and preserve the country’s sovereignty and higher interests was highlighted.”

The meeting also addressed constitutional requirements and the need to expedite the formation of the government to ensure the continuity of state institutions and their role in providing services and addressing crises.
