Samarra: Military intelligence detachments arrested (17) drug dealers and traffickers in Baghdad. The Military Intelligence Directorate stated in a press release: “Following precise intelligence information, surprise checkpoints were set up by joint detachments in various areas of the capital, Baghdad. Military intelligence personnel in the joint detachments were able to dismantle (17) drug dealers and traffickers in different areas of Baghdad.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, it was explained: “Those arrested constitute a distribution network active in several areas of the capital, and they were handed over, along with the materials seized in their possession, to the relevant authorities.”
