Najaf: An Iranian woman set fire to her apartment in the Al-Ghadir neighborhood of central Najaf, resulting in tragic consequences. Civil Defense teams recovered the body of her young daughter and rescued her husband, who suffered severe burns.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, investigations revealed that the woman deliberately ignited the fire. Surveillance footage from the apartment documented the incident, confirming the mother’s role in the crime. Following the incident, she fled to an unknown location, leaving behind the devastating aftermath.

The Najaf Civil Defense reported that their personnel managed to recover the child’s body and save the husband. The authorities are currently searching for the woman responsible for the fire.
