Baghdad: The National Center for International Judicial Cooperation announced that the total number of ISIS terrorists transferred from Syrian prisons has reached 5,704, representing 61 countries. The center explained in a statement that the number of Iraqis is 467, the number of Arabs is 4,253, and the number of non-Arab foreigners is 983. The largest group, 3,543, were Syrian nationals.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement indicated that the most prominent foreign nationalities were from Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, Denmark, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine, in addition to Australia, Canada, the United States, South Africa, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. It is worth noting that the First Karkh Investigation Court, specializing in terrorism cases, began interrogating the ISIS terrorists immediately upon their arrival to take legal action against them. The transfer of all the accused to Iraq has now been completed.
