Egyptian Omar Marmoush Leads Manchester City to Victory Over Newcastle United

Barcelona: Egyptian international Omar Marmoush led his team, Manchester City, to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after a 3-1 victory over Newcastle United in their match on Saturday evening at St. James' Park, as part of the fifth round of the competition.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Harvey Barnes gave Newcastle the lead in the 18th minute, before Savinho equalized for City in the 39th minute, ending the first half 1-1.

In the second half, Omar Marmoush delivered a standout performance, scoring a brace that secured the team's victory. He netted City's second goal in the 47th minute, capitalizing on a cross and firing it into the net. He then added the third goal in the 65th minute after receiving the ball on the edge of the penalty area and unleashing a shot into the Newcastle goal. He was substituted in the 73rd minute, replaced by Ghanaian Antoine Simeone.
