Baghdad: The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced on Sunday the arrest of a suspected terrorist in eastern Salahuddin province.

According to Iraqi News Agency, a force from the 22nd Brigade of the PMF’s Northern and East Tigris Operations Command apprehended a suspect identified by the initials (A.R.R.), who is wanted under Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law. The arrest took place in eastern Salahuddin province.

The operation was executed based on precise intelligence information. The PMF’s statement noted that the suspect has been handed over to the relevant authorities to complete the legal procedures against him.
