According to Iraqi News Agency, the presentation of credentials is an important diplomatic formality that signifies the commencement of an ambassador’s duties in the host country. Al-Alawi is expected to focus on strengthening bilateral ties and exploring new areas of cooperation between Iraq and Austria.
