Media and Communications Commission Fines Local Sports Program Presenters

Baghdad: The Media and Communications Commission has decided to fine the presenters of sports programs broadcast on local satellite channels 5 million dinars. In addition, the commission has issued a warning to presenters Haider Zaki, Omar Riyadh, and Ali Nouri, demanding they submit a formal apology and remove the violations that occurred in their televised programs. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the decision comes as part of a broader effort by the Media and Communications Commission to uphold broadcasting standards and ensure that content aired on local channels adheres to established guidelines. The actions taken by the commission reflect a commitment to maintaining the quality and integrity of sports programming in the region. The presenters have been instructed to address the violations promptly and ensure compliance with the commission's regulations moving forward.
