40 People Killed in Bus Accident in Balochistan, Pakistan

Balochistan: Forty people were killed and others injured when a bus plunged into a deep ravine on the side of a road in Balochistan province, southwestern Pakistan, on Friday. The tragic accident occurred in the mountainous Dana Sar area, claiming numerous lives and leaving others injured.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Sanaullah Sherani, the head of the emergency center in the region, stated that the passenger bus was traveling from Quetta to Peshawar when it veered off the road. Authorities in Balochistan confirmed the death toll of 40 and reported that 11 individuals sustained injuries.

Rescue operations commenced immediately following the accident, with officials striving to ascertain the circumstances leading to the bus's plunge into the ravine. The incident has prompted a response from emergency services to address the aftermath and provide aid to the injured.
