Diwaniyah: Farmers in Diwaniyah are demanding a delay in collecting irrigation fees. The Union of Agricultural Associations in Diwaniyah has requested the Ministry of Water Resources to postpone collecting irrigation fees owed by farmers until they receive payment for their wheat crop.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Union conveyed, in an official letter, the farmers' demands that the Ministry of Water Resources departments be instructed to delay collecting irrigation fees until they receive their payments for marketing their wheat from the Ministry of Finance.
