Baghdad: Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Haibat al-Halbousi, engaged in discussions with the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, during the official farewell ceremonies for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting between al-Halbousi and Ghalibaf focused on the bilateral relations between Iraq and Iran. They also discussed regional and international developments, alongside various issues of common interest to both nations.
