Basra: The Sadr Movement in Basra organized a peaceful demonstration in support of the reform campaign aimed at combating corruption and strengthening the rule of law. Participants in the demonstration, which took place after Friday prayers at the Five Mile Mosque, raised Iraqi flags and banners of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), affirming their support for the reform process and the fight against corruption, and renewing their commitment to the principles that call for strengthening the rule of law and protecting state institutions.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the participants chanted slogans in support of reform, including "Yes, yes, O Hussein," "Yes, yes to reform," "Yes, yes, O Iraq," and "No, no to corruption," in a scene that reflected their support for the continuation of efforts to combat corruption and their backing of reform measures.
