Baghdad: Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, the Secretary-General of Asaib Ahl al-Haq, held a meeting with Hamid al-Shatri, the head of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, to discuss the latest developments in security affairs.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place in Sheikh Al-Khazali's office in Baghdad. A statement from his office highlighted that both parties deliberated on the challenges currently facing the country. They emphasized the importance of enhancing coordination between security and intelligence institutions to help consolidate security and stability, as well as protect national interests.

In addition to discussing security challenges, the meeting included an exchange of views on various files of mutual interest. Both parties agreed on the necessity of continuing national efforts to address security challenges to ensure the preservation of Iraq's security and sovereignty.
