Baghdad: The Speaker of Parliament, Haibat Al-Halbousi, commenced the proceedings of Session No. (1) for the sixth electoral term, marking the first legislative year and the second legislative chapter.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Media Department of the Council announced in a statement that Al-Halbousi led the session's opening. The session is part of the legislative activities scheduled for the current electoral term, which aims to address various parliamentary agendas and legislative duties.
