Mosul: The Director of Nineveh Municipalities, Raad al-Hadidi, announced the commencement of work to re-divide more than 1,600 residential plots on the outskirts of Mosul. This coincides with the opening of streets and the preparation of the areas to complete legal procedures and issue building permits.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, technical teams have begun conducting field surveys and reorganizing residential plots and blocks, while addressing technical obstacles related to electricity lines, sewage networks, and the Tal Afar water project. Al-Hadidi emphasized that work to open streets and demarcate boundaries on the ground is ongoing, in coordination with the relevant authorities, which will contribute to organizing residential areas, resolving land issues, and facilitating the provision of services to citizens.
The initiative marks a significant step towards developing the infrastructure in the area, ensuring that the necessary legal and technical frameworks are in place to support the distribution and development of residential plots. This effort is part of a broader plan to improve living conditions and boost the local economy through enhanced urban planning and service delivery.
