Baghdad: The berths of the Umm Qasr North Port recently received the vessel KSL MINGYANG, which was carrying 5,209 assorted pieces of oil equipment intended to support Iraqi oil fields.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Ministry of Transport revealed that the Director General of the General Company for Iraqi Ports, Captain Alaa Abdul Hassan Al-Akeeli, noted, "The handling operations for the cargo of the vessel KSL MINGYANG, which docked at berth 19, were carried out with high efficiency."
He further stated, "The company continues to implement its operational and technical plans to raise the efficiency of work in the ports, which contributes to supporting economic activity and ensuring the arrival of various vital shipments to the beneficiaries, in accordance with the highest standards of performance and safety."
