Diwaniyah: Hundreds of long-term graduates staged a demonstration in front of the local government building in Diwaniyah, demanding that the local and central governments, as well as the Council of Representatives, appoint them to permanent positions and assign them to various government departments and institutions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the demonstrators affirmed their intention to continue protesting until their demands are met by the relevant authorities. The protest highlights the ongoing issue of unemployment among older graduates who seek stable employment opportunities within government sectors.
