Basra: The Ministry of Education, represented by the Shatt al-Arab Education Department of the Basra General Directorate of Education, has announced a significant achievement as two of its researchers have been awarded the Scientific Creativity Medal. This accolade was received during their participation in the Second International Conference on Applied, Social, and Humanistic Research, held at Duhok Polytechnic University. The conference featured more than 220 researchers from various Iraqi universities and academic institutions.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Assistant Lecturer Zuhair Abdul Abbas al-Tamimi, who serves as the Director of the Shatt al-Arab Education Department, presented a research paper focusing on the impact of digital transformation on banking performance. Alongside him, Saleh Mahdi Abdul Ali contributed with a research paper examining the effects of digital transformation in Iraqi banks. Both researchers' work received commendation from the conference's scientific committee, earning a "very good" rating and recognition as some of the best research papers presented.
This honor led to the awarding of the Scientific Creativity Medal to the distinguished researchers. They also received an official invitation to participate in the next edition of the conference, which is scheduled to take place in Tunisia. This invitation serves as recognition of the exceptional scientific level demonstrated in their research.
