Baghdad: US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth received Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi at the Ministry headquarters. Prior to this meeting, the Prime Minister held official talks with US President Donald Trump.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Al-Zaidi emphasized that Iraq needs a strategic partner of the size of the United States to overcome economic challenges. Trump stated that his country supports al-Zaidi's government in strengthening stability and implementing economic measures.
