Baghdad: The Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Abdul Hussein Al-Moussawi, held a meeting with the Deputy Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Othman Al-Juhaishi, to discuss strategies for enhancing institutional integration and developing joint cooperation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated in a press release that the meeting focused on ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Higher Education and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. They reviewed mechanisms for institutional integration aimed at supporting the Ministry's efforts in developing the higher education and scientific research sector, serving the community, and aligning with national development priorities.

Both sides emphasized the importance of unifying efforts and exchanging expertise among government institutions. They noted that such collaboration would contribute to raising the level of institutional performance and enhance the efficiency of implementing strategic programs and projects. Additionally, they discussed supporting initiatives that contribute to developing the educational and research environment, in line with the government's directions towards achieving sustainable development and improving the quality of services provided to citizens.
