Hilla: A woman's body was discovered north of Hilla, the capital of Babylon Governorate. A police patrol located the body in a farm in the al-Abd area.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Babylon Police Media Director, Colonel Ammar al-Shammari, reported that the woman had been working in a field and was reported missing. Hours later, her body was found by a patrol from the Iskandariya police station. The police have since transferred the body to the forensic medicine department for further examination.
