Baghdad: The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has unveiled the preliminary admission results for postgraduate students for the 2026/2027 academic year.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry's Research and Development Department stated that these results have been made available on the official postgraduate studies system website (https://pga.mohesr.gov.iq). The department highlighted that all allocated admission seats were filled following the Cabinet's decision to exclude unauthorized employees from the application process.

The department also announced that the period for appealing the preliminary admission results is scheduled to begin on Sunday, July 19, 2026. The appeal window will remain open until the end of official working hours on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. This timeline is part of a formal authorization granted to the Director General of the Research and Development Department, who is responsible for managing the application and admission process and approving the necessary mechanisms for processing admission results and related timelines.
