Beirut: Internal Security Forces, in the frame of fulfilling its duties in maintaining security and fighting crime of different kinds, detained, on 18/10/2012, 51 persons for committing various crimes involving robberies, drug-related crimes, hitting and harming, stabbing, opening fire, swindling, illegal entry into the country, not having proper identification documents, sexual harassment, illegal residency, and wanted over judicial warrants on different Lebanese territories.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the arrests were part of a concerted effort by the authorities to crack down on criminal activities and uphold law and order across the nation. The detained individuals were apprehended for a range of offenses that posed significant threats to public safety and security.
