Hawza’s Outreach Project Hosts Thirteenth Annual Conference for Husseini Procession Owners

Najaf: The Hawza's Outreach Project recently held its thirteenth annual conference for the owners of Husseini processions as part of the Arba'een pilgrimage. The event, which took place under the slogan "The Husseini Procession: A Partner in Spreading the Message and a Messenger of Values in the Arba'een Pilgrimage," saw the participation of over 1,200 procession owners.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ahmed Al-Ashkouri, the project supervisor, addressed the attendees, focusing on the imperative of maintaining the authenticity of serving Imam Hussein. He highlighted the need to avoid ostentation and competition, and stressed the significance of instilling a culture of order and cleanliness, which are integral to the ethics of service. Al-Ashkouri also emphasized the critical role of engaging youth in the management of processions and passing on the culture of serving Imam Hussein to future generations. He further underscored the importance of strengthening the relationship between the Hawza and the Husseini processions, grounded in a shared goal and message.
