Bassil Broaches Developments in Lebanon and Region with Turkish Ambassador

Beirut: Free Patriotic Movement (FPM) Chief, MP Gebran Bassil, on Thursday received the Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon, Murat Ltem, in the presence of Dr. Tarek Sadek, Coordinator of the FPM's Foreign Relations and Diplomacy Department. The meeting focused on Lebanese-Turkish relations and ways to strengthen them, in addition to the political and security developments in Lebanon and the region. The two sides also exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussion between Bassil and Ambassador Ltem was comprehensive, touching upon the intricate dynamics of the Middle East. They delved into the current challenges facing Lebanon, particularly in terms of political instability and security concerns. The dialogue also addressed the broader geopolitical landscape and potential avenues for collaboration between Lebanon and Turkey.
