Iran Engages in Ongoing Talks with the United States, Aims for Agreement

Washington: The White House has confirmed that Iran is actively engaged in discussions with the United States, expressing a desire to reach a mutual agreement. This development was shared by White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt during a recent press conference.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Leavitt clarified that recent U.S. military actions against Iran were in response to Iran's breach of an existing Memorandum of Understanding. She highlighted the internal divide within the Iranian regime, noting that a faction is in favor of advancing towards a deal with the United States.

Leavitt further elaborated on President Trump's stance, asserting his proven capability to strike Iran at any time and place. She emphasized that President Trump remains open to diplomatic avenues and firmly believes in achieving peace through strength. Moreover, she assured that the President is committed to defending U.S. interests, particularly in preventing Iran from attacking ships in the Strait of Hormuz without repercussions.
