Erbil: The Prime Minister of Iraq has strongly denounced a recent drone attack that breached the airspace of Erbil, vowing that there will be no leniency towards those responsible for these actions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi took to the X platform to express his condemnation of the attack. He emphasized the constitutional responsibility to protect the stability of the region and assured that the government would not tolerate such actions, which aim to destabilize the path toward building a stable state and achieving social peace.

Al-Zaidi further mentioned that directives have been issued to relevant security agencies and formations. He highlighted the importance of coordinating with regional security forces to implement necessary measures to prevent similar incidents in the future and to apprehend those who threaten the security of Iraqi society.
