Baghdad: The US State Department announced that Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun in Washington, where they discussed the implementation of the tripartite framework.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Rubio reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to supporting the successful implementation of the tripartite framework and to supporting the Lebanese government’s efforts to achieve peace and economic recovery.
