Lieutenant General Falah Shaghati Appointed Head of Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency

Baghdad: Lieutenant General Falah Shaghati has been appointed as the head of the Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency. A security source announced that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ali al-Zaidi, issued the order for this appointment.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Lieutenant General Shaghati has previously served as Assistant to former Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari for Intelligence Affairs. His extensive experience in intelligence positions is expected to contribute significantly to his new role within the Ministry of Interior.
