Baghdad: The Mosul District Administration, in cooperation with the Mosul Municipality and with the support of security forces, carried out a campaign to remove residential encroachments in an area within the framework of enforcing laws and protecting public property.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Mosul District Governor Hisham al-Hashemi stated: “The campaign included removing a number of encroachments that were hindering the implementation of municipal plans, amidst security measures to organize the work and prevent any clashes.” He emphasized that “the campaigns will continue in areas affected by encroachments to maintain urban planning and enforce the law.”
