Mosul: A source in the Nineveh Police reported that river police units recovered the body of a person who drowned in the Tigris River near the village of Talul Nasser, in the Qayyarah district, south of Mosul.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the body was transferred to the forensic medicine department to complete legal procedures, while the relevant authorities opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident.
