Baghdad: The Department of Cinema and Theater has extended an invitation to artists to participate in the fourth annual “Arbaeen Art Festival.” The festival encompasses a variety of artistic fields, including theater, cinema, visual arts, literature, screenwriting, photography, graphic design, Arabic calligraphy, Quranic recitation, and Hussaini elegies. Artists interested in showcasing their work are encouraged to submit their entries by the 25th of Safar.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the festival is an important cultural event organized by the Tabeen Foundation for Production and Development. It is held in cooperation with the Department of Cinema and Theater and other institutions, coinciding with the Arbaeen pilgrimage. The event aims to highlight meaningful creativity and document this significant occasion through various artistic and literary works.
