Baghdad: Civil Defense teams extinguished a fire that broke out in the "Ayash Chicken" restaurant in Hilla on Thursday. Civil Defense Media Director Aqeel Abdullah stated, "Civil Defense teams were able to extinguish the fire without any casualties," adding, "The fire destroyed an entire floor of the restaurant."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the quick response of the Civil Defense teams prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings and ensured the safety of the nearby residents. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by local authorities. Despite the significant damage to the restaurant, the efforts of the Civil Defense teams were commended for their efficiency and prompt action in handling the emergency situation.
