Babil: One of the Arbaeen pilgrims drowned north of Hilla. The river police are searching for the body of a young man from Baghdad Governorate, a pilgrim participating in the Arba'een pilgrimage, who drowned while trying to reach the Euphrates River in the Musayyib district, north of Hillah, on Thursday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Police Media Director, Colonel Ammar al-Shammari, stated, "One of the pilgrims attempted to reach the Euphrates River in the Musayyib district, north of Hillah, on Thursday, but he tripped and fell into the river. His family reported his fall, and the river police are still searching for his body."
