Baghdad: The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has announced the disbursement of pensions for insured retired workers for the month of August 2026 in Baghdad and the provinces. The announcement was made today, confirming that the payments have been processed and are ready for collection.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Director General of the Workers' Retirement and Social Security Department, Khulood Hiran Finjan, revealed in a press release that all necessary procedures for releasing the pensions have been completed. The disbursement process commenced this afternoon, Thursday, July 30, 2026.

Finjan urged all retirees to visit the designated payment centers to receive their pensions. The Ministry has ensured that the payment centers are ready to accommodate the retirees and facilitate a smooth distribution of pensions.
