Kirkuk: Kirkuk Governor Mohammed Saman Agha announced the suspension of official working hours in the governorate's departments and institutions on Sunday, August 2, 2026, as part of ongoing preparations to secure the requirements for the Arba'een pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the decision to suspend official working hours aims to allow government departments and relevant authorities to finalize preparations and service and security plans, and to enhance efforts to provide the best possible services to pilgrims and secure their needs during the pilgrimage.
