Baghdad: The Ministry of Education announced the recovery of 129,656,713 dinars to the state treasury through the General Directorate of Education in Baghdad's Rusafa II district. This action was taken in accordance with the directives of Minister of Education Abdul Karim Abtan al-Jubouri regarding the protection of public funds and the resolution of legal cases.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Education confirmed in a statement that the funds were recovered following legal procedures implemented by the Funds Recovery Unit within the Claims and Integrity Division of the Legal Affairs Department, in coordination with relevant authorities.

The statement also indicated the continuation of efforts to recover funds and to take legal and administrative measures to secure the state's rights in accordance with applicable legislation. This is part of a ministerial approach aimed at safeguarding public funds and establishing transparency and good governance in institutional work.
