Al-qadisiyah: A demonstration unfolded at Al-Qadisiyah University as dozens of professors and staff members gathered to demand the immediate payment of their overdue salaries. The financial and administrative entitlements, primarily salaries, have been delayed for more than 40 days, prompting significant unrest among university employees.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the demonstrators are also calling for the payment of annual bonuses, completion of promotions, and payment of supervisory and postgraduate thesis defense fees. The staff emphasized the urgent need for relevant authorities to intervene in addressing these issues to ensure fairness, job security, and the continuous operation of educational activities at the university.
