Rome: The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has announced the list of cities shortlisted to host matches of the UEFA Euro 2032 tournament, which Italy will co-host with Turkey, following the deadline for submitting bids. According to National Iraqi News Agency, July 31st was the final date for interested cities to submit the required documents to maintain their eligibility to host the tournament. The shortlist includes 13 cities: Bari, Bologna, Cagliari, Florence, Genoa, Lecce, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Rome, Salerno, Turin, and Verona. The bids also include 16 stadiums, which will be evaluated in the next phase. The FIGC will begin reviewing the bids before compiling the final list, which will be sent to UEFA by the October 1st deadline. UEFA had awarded Italy and Turkey the right to jointly host Euro 2032, with the stadiums and cities that will host the tournament matches in each country to be determined later.
