Karbala: The head of the Karbala Provincial Council, Qasim Ali al-Yassari, received the Governor of Maysan, Habib Thahir al-Fartousi, to discuss ways to enhance coordination for the upcoming Arba'een pilgrimage. The meeting focused on strategies to improve cooperation between the two provinces to support efforts related to security, services, and organization during the pilgrimage.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions aimed to ensure that the millions of pilgrims expected to arrive in Karbala receive the best possible services. The officials emphasized the importance of aligning their plans with the scale of the event to facilitate a smooth pilgrimage experience.
