Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that as many as 50,000 North Korean soldiers are set to be deployed in Russia to support its military efforts. He also made a call to South Korea for assistance in strengthening Ukraine's air defense system.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Zelenskyy communicated through the X platform, stating, "A decision has been made to deploy between 30,000 and 50,000 North Korean soldiers on Russian territory," marking an increase from his previous estimate of 30,000 in July. The Ukrainian President did not disclose how this information was acquired.
