Amarah: River police divers have recovered the body of a young man from Baghdad province who drowned near the Yugoslav Bridge in Amarah, the capital of Maysan province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the divers initiated a search operation after receiving a report of the drowning. Following continuous efforts, they successfully located and retrieved the young man's body from the Tigris River. The body has been handed over to the relevant authorities, and security forces have commenced an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
