Dhi qar: The Ministry of Education has initiated efforts to expedite the implementation of social benefit projects dedicated to the education sector within the Dhi Qar Governorate. This initiative involves the construction of 10 new schools strategically located across the northern districts, in line with directives from Minister of Education Abdul Karim Abtan al-Jubouri. These new educational facilities aim to mitigate the issue of overcrowded schools and enhance educational infrastructure.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Education issued a statement highlighting that Ali Ismail al-Sabti, the Director General of Education in Dhi Qar, engaged in discussions with key department directors. These discussions focused on the critical aspects of site requirements, implementation steps, and necessary procedures for the project.

The Ministry's statement further emphasized its commitment to streamlining various stages of the project across the relevant departments. This coordination is crucial to ensuring that the construction and commissioning of the new school buildings are completed in time for the upcoming academic year, thereby addressing the educational needs of the northern Dhi Qar communities.
