Kut: Electricity employees in Kut, alongside contract meter readers, demonstrated today in front of the Wasit Electricity Directorate building at July 14th Square, demanding the payment of their overdue salaries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the demonstrators urged the relevant authorities to expedite the disbursement of their financial entitlements and address the reasons behind the salary delays. They emphasized that the ongoing delay in salary payments is worsening their living expenses and insisted on a resolution to the issue with immediate disbursement of their dues.
