Karbala: The Holy Abbasid Shrine has announced the number of visitors arriving in the holy city of Karbala to commemorate the Arba'een pilgrimage. According to the announcement, nearly 20 million pilgrims, including Iraqis, Arabs, and foreigners, have made their way to the city.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Creativity Center of the Holy Abbasid Shrine has detailed the preparations made for the influx of pilgrims and mourners. The precise number of visitors, totaling 19,999,870, was recorded with the help of smart cameras deployed at the gates of the holy shrines and other entry points to the province.
