Baghdad: The General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein announced on Tuesday the success of its plan for the Arba'een pilgrimage and confirmed that its services will continue until the last pilgrim leaves the holy city of Karbala.
According to Iraqi News Agency, a statement issued by the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein stated that the security, service, health, and organizational plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage was successfully implemented under the supervision and field follow-up of its legal custodian, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, and the Secretary-General, Hassan Rashid Jawad Al-Abayji. The statement emphasized that services will continue to be provided until the departure of the last pilgrim from Karbala.
The statement added that the success of the plan was attributed to the blessings of the pure Ahl al-Bayt and the diligent efforts of all those involved in serving the pilgrims of Imam Hussein. It highlighted the smooth transportation of millions of visitors and Husseini processions without any security breaches or shortages of services.
